Overview
Digital embroidery (sometimes called machine embroidery) is a process of producing a stitched pattern or image onto a fabric of your choice from a computerised design file, using a digital sewing machine or specialist embroidery machine.
The process is often used commercially for product branding, corporate advertising, and uniform adornment. It is also used in the fashion industry to decorate garments and apparel.
Digital embroidery is used by hobbyists and crafters to decorate gifts, clothing, and home decor including quilts, pillows, and wall hangings.
