Plug the injection moulder into a socket and switch on
<Pic>
Ensure the switch on the bottom of the grey power box is on
<Pic>
The injection moulder turns on automatically

Find the correct temperature settings for your material by referring to the material guide for the machine
<Pic>
Using the thermometer controller, set the temperatures for the top and bottom heating elements
<Pic>
To set your target temperature, press the up button to increase the temperature and or the down button to lower your temperature. Once finished press the set button to lock in your temperature setting. You will need to set the target temperatures on both of the controller units.
<Pic>
When your target temperatures and actual temperatures are near the same number, you are ready to start adding in plastic chips
<Pic>
To fill the machine with plastic chips first turn the wheel counter-clockwise to raise the extrusion rod fully until you see the extrusion plunger head
<Pic>
Pour in some plastic chips to the hopper
<Pic>
Turn the wheel clockwise to start pushing the chips into extrusion chamber – this allows the material to be heated
<Pic>
You can always repeat the process of raising and lowering the plunger to load up more material to fill your mould
<Pic>
Keep turning the wheel clockwise until the mould is filled with molten plastic
<Pic>
When a small amount of melted plastic is overflowing from the mould, you will know it is full
<Pic>
When a mould is filled, lift the red lever UP to lower the base, and using heat proof gloves, carefully remove the mould and place it on a heat resistant mat to cool
<Pic>
If doing more than one mould it makes sense to remove one mould and let it cool. Then you can place another on the base – allowing moulds to cool, whilst other moulds are being injected
<Pic>
When fully cool, unscrew the mould and open to reveal your newly moulded item!
