Ordering your colours
Go to the Sewing Order column on the left-hand side of the screen, and click and drag each piece of your design to rearrange the order.
Hold Shift on your keyboard to select more than one at a time.
Group your colours together so that the Stitch progress bar at the bottom shows only 1 section of each colour.
This will speed up your embroidery, meaning you only have to change each thread colour once.
If the colours generated by PE Design 10 are too similar or incorrect, you can change them by selecting a piece of your design and clicking the Thread colour button.
Again, hold Shift on your keyboard to select more than one at a time.
In the Thread colour pop up box, select a colour of your choice.
You will still need to use the thread colours provided and insert each one manually, but changing the colours in PE Design 10 can help you keep track of which colour is next.
Repeat these steps until all your colours look correct and in the right order, with each colour grouped and only showing once in the bottom bar.
